Z1000 Variable Speed Drive

3 HP to 500 HP
Fan and Pump Applications

The Z1000 variable speed drive is designed for building automation applications such as fans, pumps, and cooling towers through 500 HP. The Z1000 features an easy-to-read LCD keypad that provides Hand-Off-Auto interface and a real time clock. These features make the Z1000 perfect for most building automation applications that require reliable motor control.

Z1000 Bypass

1 HP to 500 HP
AC Fan and Pump Applications

HVAC Optimized with Intelligent Bypass and Advanced BAS Interface. The Z1000 variable frequency drive sets a new benchmark for cost, Performance, benefits and quality.

Yaskawa America Inc.’s Patent Pending Technology
The Intelligent Bypass, when enabled, can transfer the motor across the line when the application requires 60Hz.  Most HVAC systems require 60Hz at peak demand (Summer months - Daytime).  Removes the drive at 60Hz and saves energy.  Removes the drive at 60Hz and eliminates harmonics at worse case scenario.

E7 VFD Line

The E7 VFD line is comprised of application-specific, variable torque, ac variable frequency drives designed to meet the needs of the Building Automation System (BAS) marketplace. These VFDs continue the trend to reduce size and cost while increasing performance and quality.

The right solution for centrifugal loads on applications such as: VAV air handler supply and return air fans, outdoor air injection fans, exhaust fans, cooling tower fans, chilled and hot water distribution pumps, constant air volume fan conversions, DX condenser fans, clean room circulating fans, condenser water pumps, variable primary pumps, boiler combustion fans, ventilation fans, smoke control fans, fume hood fans, filtration control fans or pumps and centrifugal compressors.

E7 VFD

The E7 VFD is an application-specific, variable torque, ac drive designed to meet the needs of the Building Automation System (BAS) marketplace.

The E7 VFD is a variable torque AC drive, designed specifically for HVAC applications in building automation. A new benchmark for size, cost, performance, benefits, and quality, the E7 includes numerous built-in features such as Network Communications, PI control and energy savings functions.

The E7 VFD has embedded communications for the popular building automation protocols, Johnson Controls Metasys N2 and Siemens APOGEE, as well as Modbus. An optional LonWorks or BACnet interface card is available.

E7N Bypass Package

The E7N Bypass package is a 2-contactor style bypass with HOA touchpad control, allowing motor operation from either the drive or across the line. This allows continued operation even if the E7 VFD is disabled, by fault or intention. The E7 and E7N Bypass have been designed for flexibility in providing the features and options commonly specified by facility designers.

E7S Slim Configured Package

The E7S Slim Configured package provides an E7 VFD in a NEMA 1 enclosure, with space for several commonly used options, such as reactors, input filters, circuit breakers, etc. The E7 and E7S Slim Configured have been designed for flexibility in providing the features and options commonly specified by facility designers.

E7 18-Pulse VFD

The E7 18-Pulse VFD Design is a variable torque rated AC drive, designed specifically for HVAC applications that require low total harmonic distortion (THD) at the drive input terminals and to meet the requirements of IEEE-519 (special applications) at the point of common coupling (PCC). A new benchmark for size, cost, performance, benefits, and quality, the E7 includes numerous built-in features such as Network Communications, H/O/A, PI, and energy-savings functions.

E7E Engineered

The E7 Bypass packages are designed for optimum performance when used with today’s Building Automation Systems (BAS). The E7 VFD with bypass allows motors to be operated from either the drive or directly across the AC line. Bypass capability is selected for any critical application that must have redundant motor control to insure continued operation. The bypass function transfers motor operation from the VFD to the AC line via drive isolation contactors and a bypass contactor.
